George's puppy tales - something new.

Image
Hello! Now, this post is a bit new to me as I'm not used to doing posts that don't include a card or a project, but for a change I thought I'd write about our new pup, George and give an update since the first photo I shared nearly two months ago.
If your not sure on your dog breeds, George is a border terrier. He is a blue grizzle, which fur wise is black and tan. The blue comes from them having blue skin, something I learned from his breeder. George is now 4 months old and this week his baby teeth have began to fall out and his adult teeth are coming through, which after nearly two months of biting hands, legs, my hair, clothes and various dog toys ( now mostly in the bin due to him completely ruining them) I'm glad of.
He's also in the puppy crazies stage, which for anyone who hasn't had a pup is where your pup literally goes crazy. Running around, jumping off of furniture, biting, swinging off clothes. It is the puppy equivalent of a toddler tantrum, which as …

House Mouse twisted easle

Image
Hello, It has been a while since my last House Mouse card. After the sudden loss of my dog, i stopped crafting for a while and so my HouseMouse365 challenge came to an end. Although now we have a new pup, i still don't get to craft as much as i would like so i have to do large chunks of crafting for one of two days a week. I created this card using my favorite House Mouse christmas stamp. This will be the image on my christmas cards this year, i just think it is so cute! I coloured my image with promarkers and created a twisted easle. The papers, from Nitwit collections festive flowers are all matted on red mirror card. I added some white lace and a sentiment to finish.

Hello, Today i have a card to share that i made for one of my blogging friends for her birthday this week. I used another of the redrawn images from Saturated Canary that came with the first subscription email. The image is called tourist but it is great for anyone who likes to take photos, like myself, too.   I coloured the image using promarkers. The papers are from Nitwit collections Happy range. I added a doily, pearls, ribbon and flowers to finish along with a sentiment. I also added some glitter to the flash on the camera.

Altenew: Vintage flowers

Image
Hello again, My final card for today uses the Altenew Vintage flowers set. I created this card by stamping part of a text background onto the centre of a 6x6 card in dessery sand ink. I then stamped a range of the flowers in orange, blue and the leaves in brown. I stuck them in the centre of my card and stamped a sentiment from the Tulips stamp set.
