Whimsy Penguin Couple

Image
Hello, Last week I treated myself to some of the super cute penguin stamps from Whimsy stamps. I would love to use some of the Christmas images for my Christmas cards this year, but they seem to have sold out everywhere. After seeing them featured on a few blogs and on pinterest I had to get them! For this card I used the penguin couple, coloured with Promarkers and die cut into a circle. Colouring scenes I actually find quite difficult, sometimes they look ok others I don't like them at all but colouring classes usually feature copics rather than Promarkers. I used Nitwit collections Cherish papers, currently my favourite papers in pretty peach and pastel blue. I added some ribbon, flowers, pearls and an anniversary sentiment to finish.
I'd like to enter this into the following: Passion for Promarkers: pastels As you like it: favourite embellishments and why? Flowers and pearls, because I love adding a bit of a natural look to my cards and pearls give it a pretty feel.  Through the cr…

Hello, It is the A Teams turn to host this week at The Paper Shelter and this weeks challenge is punches and or dies. For my card I used the image So Pretty and cropped the top half of the image. I then die cut into a fancy rectangle and coloured with Promarkers. I used Nitwit collections Girly girl papers, matted on white. I added ribbon, flowers and a sentiment to finish.
We look forward to seeing your creations!

House Mouse Christmas Giftbox

Image
Hello, I'm back with my final post of the day, this cute House mouse gift box.

The box itself is slightly smaller that 6x6, I decorated it using Hobbycraft Christmas papers. I die cut my image into a circle and matted on gold to bring out the gold in the poinsettia paper. I die cut gold and green leaves using dies from The Works. I also added flowers to finish.

LOTV: Christmas Crossover Card

Image
Hello, I haven't had a lot of time in the past week to share many creations (or even craft for that matter!) as I've been busy looking after my pup after his op last week. After a bit of an emergency at the weekend he is now recovering well. So well in fact apart from some bruises, you wouldn't know he'd even had an op! He seems to be getting back to his usual mischievous self.
Anyway, back to my card. I made this for the LOTV August challenge which this month was Christmas.  It's been a while since I used an LOTV stamp and this is one of my older ones. I love the little girl decorating her Christmas cake, it reminds me a bit of myself as I love to bake at Christmas, mini Christmas cakes, mince pies, gingerbread anything really but it is something that I always associate with the holiday season.
I created a crossover card, using Lemoncraft Christmas papers from noor design, matted on green. I added some pretty lace, flowers and some die cut leaves. I used an old verse st…
